Eating Disorders/Body Image

At our practice, we understand that struggles with food and body image are deeply personal, and often complicated. That’s why we take a holistic, collaborative approach, walking alongside you as you navigate your unique experiences. Our therapists are here to support you with compassion and curiosity, helping you move toward a life that feels more connected, meaningful, and aligned with you.


We’re grounded in the principles of Health at Every Size® and Intuitive Eating, and we believe in your body’s wisdom. Our goal is to help you build a more trusting, peaceful relationship with food and your body - one that honors your needs, not anyone else’s rules.


Our practice offers Family Based Treatment (Maudsley Method), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Somatic-Based Approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other eclectic therapies to address disordered eating and body image concerns.

Trauma

Trauma can leave a lasting imprint, shaping how we see the world, how we connect with others, and how we move through daily life. Healing doesn’t just happen by “knowing” things are okay. Sometimes, even when everything makes sense logically, your body and emotions might still tell a different story.


In our work together, we’ll gently explore these experiences, using approaches that help connect your mind and body. Through this process, we’ll work to ease the weight of painful memories, rebuild your sense of safety, and support you in moving forward with more clarity and self-trust.


Our practice offers Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Inner Child Work, and other somatic based therapies when exploring traumatic experiences.

LGBTQ+ Affirming Care

Affirmative therapy isn’t just about accepting LGBTQ+ identities, it’s about honoring and celebrating them. We recognize the impact that societal norms and systems of oppression can have, and we’re committed to creating a space that supports all identities and relationships, especially those outside the mainstream.


Whether you’re coming to therapy to process experiences of shame, stigma, or discrimination - or for reasons that have nothing to do with your identity - it matters that you feel safe, seen, and supported. Our therapists are here to meet you where you are, explore what’s meaningful to you, and walk alongside you as you work toward your goals.

Borderline Personality Disorder

If you're living with BPD, you might feel like your emotions are constantly in overdrive, relationships feel hard to hold onto, or you’re unsure of who you really are. It can be exhausting- and confusing- to try to make sense of it all on your own.


In therapy, we’ll create a space where you can feel safe to explore what’s going on beneath the surface. Our therapists use a mix of approaches to help you understand your emotions, feel more connected to yourself, let go of shame, and find healthier ways to cope with life’s ups and downs. You don’t have to have it all figured out - we’re here to support you as you grow into a version of yourself that feels more grounded and true.


Our practice offers Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Emotion-Focused Therapy, and  Internal Family Systems when working with BPD.
