What I'm About
I know starting therapy can feel uncomfortable, and I don't expect you to have everything figured out before we meet. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to show up exactly as you are. We can laugh together, celebrate the small wins (and the big ones), and work through the hard stuff without judgment. I don't believe therapy has to feel serious all the time. Sometimes healing happens through laughter, celebrating the little wins, and finding joy even in the middle of the difficult moments. I want you to leave sessions feeling like you were truly heard, supported, and understood.
Sessions With Me
Every person is different, so I don't believe therapy should look the same for everyone. I love pulling from different therapy approaches to create something that actually fits you, rather than expecting you to fit into one specific therapy style. Whether we're using ACT, DBT, CBT, or other strategies, we'll find what feels most helpful for your goals and your life.
I enjoy helping clients make sense of why they're feeling the way they do while also giving them practical tools they can actually use outside of session. I like finding ways to keep sessions interactive and engaging. Sometimes that means practicing coping skills together, using worksheets, grabbing a fidget, or breaking big emotions into smaller, more manageable pieces. My hope is that you leave each session with something meaningful you can carry into your everyday life.
My Favorites
I'm especially passionate about working with individuals navigating eating disorders, body image concerns, and anxiety. My work is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Family-Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders. My goal is to help clients build emotion regulation skills, strengthen their relationship with themselves and others, and make meaningful changes that align with the life they want to live.
